The proposed residential building in Burnaby, BC is located in the Maywood neighborhood, which is considered to be the “residential heart” of Metrotown.  This 24 storey tower and the 4 storey podium together provide a total of 360 units, with different unit types that tailor to diverse dwelling needs.

The scale and mass of this building shows blends in well with the existing skyline, in an area that currently has many high-density apartments.

The flowing lines on the glass facade elegantly soften the rigidness of the tower, and on the front mark the entrance of the building. This pattern also provides texture and variation to the pedestrian environment. Facing the east side is a large open green space. This publicly accessible green park not only establishes a connection between the Central Park and the neighborhood but also contributes to the “garden street” concept that promotes healthy living.
